A reputable accounting firm located in Inner Eastern Suburbs are looking for a cheerful and motivated receptionist / administrator to join their team. This unique opportunity offers the chance to further develop your reception skills and begin to take on more and more administration tasks. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure into the accounting industry too.



This role would be ideal for someone seeking a new challenge, with variety in the role. It will suit a professional with experience in reception who wants to further develop their administration skills. Lot of opportunity for progression within this firm!!



THE ROLE

Perform administrative duties as required such as scanning, collating and binding, answering telephone calls, meeting & greeting clients, preparation of boardroom, scheduling appointments
Managing of office supplies and stationery and arranging catering as required
Assist accountants with lodgement, collations and any other admin requirements
Handling ATO correspondence and processing NOA's
Collating tax returns and financial statements for Companies, Trusts, Superfunds and Individuals
Liaising with clients and the team of accountants regularly requesting additional information or general queries
Collation and preparation of electronic workpapers


YOU

Administrative background in a professional services environment (preferred)
Would also consider someone with retail/customer service experience
Outgoing and personable, who believes in providing good customer service
The ability to have initiative and come up with new ideas
Someone who enjoys supporting a team and adding value
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn and be challenged
XERO or MYOB AE experience (favourable)
Proficient in the use of MS Office
