Recruiter (Full Time)
Hybrid - Remote and In-branch
Salary: $47,82+/yr - $5+,786/yr
Start Date: Immediately

What qualifications are we looking for?
At YMCA Calgary we strive to ensure our employees are a fit based on their strengths, interests, and future goals. The successful candidate will have the following;
Post-secondary degree in human resources, administration, or related education.
1- 2 years’ experience within the field of Human Resources and Recruitment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards is considered an asset.
Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
Excellent attention to detail, exercising a high degree of accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organization skills.
Experience working with recruitment posting/tracking software.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment.
Working towards RPR or CPHR designation will be considered an asset.
Evidence of a clear Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Search.
Three professional references.
What does this role look like at YMCA Calgary?
Duties and Responsibilities includes:
Creating and maintain job posting across internal and external platforms.
Review and screen job applications, forwarding qualified candidates to the appropriate hiring managers.
Assist hiring managers with interviews.
Conduct reference checks for all part-time, full-time, and seasonal employees
Create and issue offer letters and onboarding packages for successful candidates.
Organize and attend recruitment fairs and other recruitment events.
Support the development and implementation of YMCA Calgary’s recruitment strategy.
Provide training to new people leaders on YMCA Calgary’s recruitment process to ensure consistency and understanding across the organization.
Ensure recruitment practices comply with internal policies, procedures, and relevant employment legislation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies, community partners, secondary and post-secondary institutions, and other networks to expand and diversify candidate pools.
Serve as the primary point of contact for recruitment-related inquiries from hiring managers..
Assist with other general Human Resources tasks or Association events as assigned by the Vice President, Human Resources
