Armour is presently seeking a Seasonal Recruitment Advisor Intern.
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Recruitment Advisor Intern will focus on full-
cycle recruitment for the organization. This includes effectively managing applicants through the
full-cycle recruitment process in collaboration with hiring management teams in our hospitality,
construction and property management related business units. This role will build successful
relationships with applicants and hiring management to ensure the candidate experience
exceeds expectations.
Work Schedule: This is a term position running from May to August, with office hours from
Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
As the Recruitment Advisor Intern, you’ll get to:
Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process for all workforce requirements across the
enterprise.
Support with job postings, resume screening, candidate pre-screening, interviewing,
offer letters, pre-employment reference checks and candidate onboarding
communication.
Effectively manage and communicate with hospitality, construction, maintenance and
corporate office candidates.
Assisting with communications to hiring managers on all recruitment related updates
and issues.
Work closely with hiring management and HR on ensuring recruitment needs are met in
a timely fashion.
Advertise career opportunities to the market in a creative and “outside the box” manner
to ensure the attraction of top talent.
Effectively utilize recruitment job posting platforms including Indeed, LinkedIn and other
value-added solutions.
Attend career fairs and recruitment events as required.
Demonstrates positivity and embodies the organizational culture to ensure the
candidate experience exceeds expectations.
What we’re looking for:
Currently taking an undergraduate degree; certificate or diploma in HR Management or
related
Strong customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Effective communication and relationship building skills.
A commitment to confidentiality.
Knowledge of employment standards and human rights legislation.
Effective organizational and time management skills with a focus on achieving
deadlines.
Prior experience in the following industries is considered an asset: commercial real
estate, hospitality, construction, leasing, property management.
