The Role

As the Recruitment Business Partner you will work in partnership with the broader People and Culture team and Council’s business units to support hiring managers on end-to-end recruitment and selection activities and processes including role briefing creation of job advertisements, shortlisting, convening interview panels, reference checking, record checking and job offer including salary negotiations and preparing letters of offer across a variety of roles.

You will embody a contemporary partnership delivery model to build positive relationships with hiring managers and providing specialist recruitment and selection expertise, coaching and strategic advice, training and develop people leaders in all aspects of the recruitment process and contribute to the development of related policy and procedures.

Delivering high quality customer service whilst managing and prioritising multiple tasks and projects, with a high attention to detail to successfully meet deadlines within a busy, fast-paced environment will be your jam. You will source and present recruitment data to assist in reporting and strategic decision making. Proactively identifying and contributing to continuous improvement projects that will add value to the team and organisation.

About You

We are looking for the right person who will gel with our People and Culture team and provide a professional, customer-centric and reliable recruitment service for our leaders. Do you have:

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience in all facets of contemporary recruitment and selection processes and best practice.
End to end recruitment experience within an internal function.
Demonstrated sound experience in effectively engaging with businesses and stakeholders to develop a shared strategy and deliver agreed outcomes on time.
Demonstrated experience in resolving problems and managing conflict in a positive manner.
Demonstrated experience in producing written documentation of a high standard.
High level interpersonal and organisation skills, particularly in customer service environments.
Ability to map recruiting process and identify efficiencies.
