If you have no recruitment experience, a legal degree would be preferred, but not essential, and any experience working in sales would be desirable. We mostly want to see a huge hunger for success and individuals with a willingness to learn, as we will expect you to pick up the intricacies of recruitment, but also the legal market.

If you are already a recruitment consultant, again, we ideally would like to hear from people from legal recruitment background, but if you have proven 360 experience and a desire to be part of the exciting world of legal recruitment, then please get in touch.

• Team members who are motivated by success, money, personal development and career progression
• Excellent literacy skills with good attention to detail
• Very organised and efficient, with the ability to perform tasks autonomously
• A good team player as you will be part of a busy established team of consultants
• You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• You will need to demonstrate that you have the confidence to work in a fast-paced and varied environment with changing priorities

What we will expect from you:

As a consultant you will be part of an established team, dedicated to providing the right talent solution for your clients, you will work as a trusted advisor, guiding both your candidates and clients through the end-to-end hiring experience resulting in finding the right person for the right job.
• Meeting clients and candidates to build and develop relationships
• Developing a good understanding of companies, the legal sector, what they do and their work culture and environment
• Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media
• Using candidate databases to match the right person to the clients vacancy
• Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client recruiting
• Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details
• Briefing candidates about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question
• Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants
• Organising, informing and preparing candidates for interviews
• Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidates
• Offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression
• Working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated

The Benefits?
• A buoyant market with high fees
• An impeccable L&D training programme
• 2 all expenses paid for holidays a year - where everyone attends
• A close-knit team where we all support each other
• An entry-level salary of £25k + commission (higher depending on experience)
