Sydney Catholic Early Childhood services are now hiring for a Permanent Full-Time Recruitment Officer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for supporting the Recruitment team in attracting and engaging high-quality talent for our Outside School Hours Care services, Preschool and Long Day Care services and Head Office team.
The role will partner with hiring managers to deliver innovative end-to-end recruitment services that produce a high level of hiring manager satisfaction and a positive candidate experience.
This role reports to the People and Culture Manager.
Major Accountabilities
As a Recruitment Officer you are required to perform tasks which include but are not limited to:
Partner with hiring managers to identify talent required in SCECS in the short and long term to deliver high quality services.
Utilise a broad range of direct sourcing channels to attract talent, in particular SEEK, including proactive sourcing such as professional networking and targeted attraction of talent.
Utilise professional pre-employment screening techniques such as phone/video interviews, face-toface interviews and reference checks to ascertain candidate skills, experience and behavioural traits.
Attend job expos, local Universities and TAFES to build relationships and promote SCECS.
Ensure SCECS careers web adverts are accurate and updated when required.
Promote and implement Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services mission and vision
Essential Criteria
To be considered for this role, you will have the following experience, skills and knowledge:
Willingness to respect, support and uphold the mission, ethos and teachings of the Catholic Church.
Has demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment within an agency/ internal recruitment/HR team environment preferably with at least three years’ experience.
Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
Evidence of using contemporary research and strategic thinking in the implementation of recruitment strategies.
Strong attention to detail
Exposure and or experience in implementing retention strategies.
HSC Qualification or equivalent
Current driver's licence.
