Would you like to deliver innovative and practical resource recovery solutions to residential communities in the City of Sydney? We have a fantastic 12-month opportunity based at the Alexandra Canal Depot for a motivated individual who is dedicated to making a difference through innovative waste management and resource recovery practices.
Reporting to the Recycling Programs Coordinator in the Resource Recovery team, you will be responsible for project managing and delivering a range of resource recovery projects that improve recycling and waste management for residents through infrastructure improvements, planning and community engagement programs.
You will:
Increase recycling rates by implementing best practice waste and recycling systems and programs throughout the City of Sydney.
Coordinate programs for the residential community that focus on increasing resource recovery, reducing contamination and solving chronic waste management issues.
Provide advanced stakeholder management and education to strata bodies, multi-unit communities and other key stakeholder groups to achieve better waste outcomes for residents across the City.
To be successful, you will have:
Highly-developed project management skills and demonstrated experience in delivering, implementing and evaluating behaviour change projects within time and budget that achieved measurable results.
Demonstrated experience at working with and fostering relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
Hold a current NSW Drivers Licence.
