Job Description:
Advanced Airflow Airconditioning Pty Ltd (Climateworx) is looking for a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. You will be responsible for ensuring that all HVAC units function efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
● Install, maintain, and repair various types of air conditioning systems.
● Perform routine system checks and preventive maintenance on HVAC units.
● Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with air conditioning units and recommend solutions.
● Ensure proper system functioning by inspecting electrical connections, refrigerant levels.
● Test-operate refrigerate systems, check and adjust mechanisms, as required
● Assist in the selection and installation of new equipment as needed.
● Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about service
options and explaining repairs or installations
● Keep detailed records of service performed, parts used, malfunctions and actions taken
● Follow all safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks
Qualifications:
● Proven work experience as an Air Conditioning Mechanic or in a similar HVAC role for at
least 1 year
● Solid knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration principles.
● Familiarity with electrical control wiring and troubleshooting.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

● Good communication and customer service skills.
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Valid driver’s license
● Relevant certification or education qualification such as (such as Cert III in Air
Conditioning and Refrigeration) is highly desirable
● Valid Refrigeration Licence, QBCC mechanical Licence, Restricted electrical Licence.

Physical Requirements:
● Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
● Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
