We’re seeking a brilliant Regional Head of Marketing with a background in surgical robotics / Medtech. This role will primarily be focused on generating high demand for our innovative products and services, by creating new markets/opportunities/customers and will serve as a critical link between corporate marketing and the regional sales teams. This role will serve as a key enabler in driving delivery of our regional business goals consistently in a compliant manner. This is an office based role in Mumbai but will include extensive travel. About CMR Surgical CMR is an exciting and evolving company to be joining right now. Our commitment to our goal of building a world-class medical devices company is underpinned by the ground-breaking innovation of our next generation of surgical robots and a diverse team of talented and supportive individuals. We’re breaking new ground which makes working here exciting, it provides autonomy, opportunity and makes the things you do visible. Come and join us and see what you’re capable of. Responsibilities • Support the countries in their respective Marketing needs and initiatives including digital and on-field marketing – by supporting the local teams to deliver, by owning the activities directly, and by coordinating with Global Marketing – until full execution of deliverables are completed. • Represent the regions and countries in the various Global Marketing forums, especially where products/assets are delivered and local feedback is required. • Own many of the critical AMEA KOL relationships together with Regional team members, Sales team members, and team members from other central functions. • Have a full understanding of the countries– what is resonating – and what messaging needs to go back and forth between central marketing, product procedure, and in-country teams • Work in close consultation with the central marketing functions on strategic and tactical messaging and ensure that the needs of the markets are fully served. • Complete responsibility for delivering local content derived from core central and strategic messaging. • Attend and take ownership of events, seminars, conferences and clinical settings and form close networking relationships with relevant stakeholders and markets. The role will be 50% strategic, defining Marketing plans for the Region, and 50% execution, actively supporting the countries to deliver on their respective business plans. This role would need significant travel to the respective markets and hospitals remaining highly customer-focused to both external customers (clinicians and healthcare professionals) and internal customers (Commercial and relevant Functional stakeholders) About You • Deep understanding of Medtech marketing (preferably with surgical robotic/Medtech capital equipment experience) and have ideally worked in Regional marketing/Global Marketing roles. • A proven track record of marketing and / or sales within the minimal access surgical field. • Strong communication skills and be able to demonstrate effective influencing and negotiating skills. • Will be able to easily float between the high strategic needs of the company and the day-to-day tactical “wants” of the customers. • Ability to collect and present data and feedback in a highly efficient and organized way • The desire to travel extensively and love being in front of customers in the field. It would also be helpful if you have: • Prior knowledge of multiple countries and cultures related to the surgical business. • Strong understanding of robotics platforms (Product and Procedure Marketing lens). Why Join Us? We offer a competitive salary and a great benefits package including a bonus, pension and healthcare, annual personal day for every employee to use however they wish and enhanced global parental leave pay. We recognise that everyone has a life outside of work and at times we can experience things which are significant and can impact on our working lives. We’ve just launched our Global Parental Leave and Health and Wellbeing leave supporting our colleagues going through the menopause, fertility cycles or pregnancy loss and those going through gender reassignment; allowing them time to look after themselves and those close to them. Interested? We’d love to hear from you!
