About the role
The Regional Operations Manager will work across various locations in the West Midlands, primarily from the office. This role involves writing reports and attending high-level meetings.
You will be responsible for assisting and managing the smooth delivery of a quality, customer-focused service. This includes ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through effective work scheduling and maximizing the operational efficiency of the team. The successful candidate will need to be organized to manage multiple quality-related tasks directly associated with properties within a defined geographical area. This will involve overseeing capital investment, responsive repairs, and void management, & Repairs & Maintenance Surveying along with the contract management of suppliers and contractors.
The ideal candidate should combine a strong business focus and a structured approach with a `can-do` mindset. You will play a vital role in delivering the internal repairs service, collaborating with the Head of Repairs to identify and mitigate risks to the business.
As the Regional Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Monitoring the quality of works completed by Teams and ensuring that standards are maintained.
- Managing and organizing a team of managers to deliver works while liaising with subcontractors, tenants, clients, and main contractors.
- Being proactive in implementing health and safety measures.
- Participating in the out-of-hours emergency repair service as a manager on rotation.

About you
As the Regional Operations Manager, you must have experience in repairs and maintenance at the managerial level.
Possess the ability to make assertive decisions to resolve complex issues related to work and repairs.
Hold a minimum of an HNC/D or equivalent in Building Studies/Surveying Discipline.
