Sports is the Fastest growing vertical in The Media Ant, we are empowering SMBs to advertise on sports platforms on Digital (JioCinema, Hotstar etc.) & On Ground (Sponsorship & Ground Branding); we have seen good success in closures for IPL, World-Cup, and other mega cricket events in last 2 years.

Job Description:

As the Regional Sales Lead - Sports Business for the South region, you will be instrumental in driving and expanding our Sports business as an Individual Contributor. You will report to the Head of Sports Business and be based out of our Bangalore office.

Key Responsibilities
• Sports Pipeline: Creating a set of Key Accounts from within TMA existing clients as well as potential new clients to pitch and close sports deals- these are predominantly mid and large size SMEs
• Pitch to clients: Understanding Client’s requirement, understand their brand journey and how Sports media can help their brand in an impactful way
• Solution based sales: Coordinate with the Central Sports planning team to create custom solutions & plans for client buy-in and conversion
• Sales Team Support: Aid the sales team to pitch sports to its existing client base or new prospects, providing guidance and support to enhance their effectiveness.

Job Experience Required:

Preferred industry: B2B Services-SME Sales, Media Ad Inventory Sales

4-6 years of Sales experience

Location: Bangalore

Day-to-Day Work:
• Develop a comprehensive outreach strategy for sports-relevant brands in the South region.
• Create and manage sales pipeline
• Work with the Central Planning team to create right brand solutions
• Pitching GTM plans for key properties and assets in the Sports vertical as per the full-year Sports events calendar
• Working closely with TMA Account Management team in Bangalore to identify potential clients

Qualifications:

Must-Have:
• Aggressive B2B sales experience with minimum 4+ years
• Experience with closing deal size of 1-5cr+
• SME Sales experience Ability to handle 20-30 clients at a given point of time
• Team Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing teams & fast-growing businesses by leading from the front
• Communication & Analytical skills: sound communication skills and analytical insights

Good to Have:
• Past Media Ad-Sales experience
• Managed Annual Sales target of 15-30Cr+
