The Opportunity
Provide regional sales leadership and accountability to drive consistent best in class performance while ensuring the daily execution of the company sales strategies. Profit accountability for top line revenue performance and profitable revenue growth. Partner with regional and location level operational leadership to ensure profitable revenue growth and achievement of company KPI’s. This would include but not be limited to assisting in business development activity such qualifying new opportunities, account planning, relationship, and account management at set revenue thresholds.
Core Responsibilities
Helps support the sales team in cultivating and maintaining relationships with key customers and hotel personnel
Guides team in evaluating customer proposals and developing specific approaches and sales strategies for various customer types
Coordinate the sales approach and resources within their regions and across servicing divisions to maximise Encore’s capture rate, city-wide events, and referral opportunities
Conduct/inspect sales planning and forecasting activity, manage sales processes and administration utilising CRM and other tools. Manage all sales training efforts to ensure consistency and relevance
Supports pitches and proposals for new venue contracts
Provides input and support regarding Venue renewal process
Involvement in standing up new venues and supporting onsite teams in early transition phase
Development of marketing collateral and pricing guides for venues
Participates in venue Quarterly Business Reviews
Review, response, and reporting of Medallia Customer Loyalty Program
Your Background
Proven track record in sales leadership, particularly in the audiovisual and event technology industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Leadership experience, including managing and developing a high-performing sales team.
Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using sales management and reporting tools.
Willingness to travel as necessary to meet client and team needs.
Comprehensive understanding of data management, interfaces to other sources e.g. excel, Smartsheet
Experience with Microsoft SQL databases
