Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and comfort during visits. This position requires a professional who is passionate about patient education and preventive care, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and in a timely manner.

Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, providing support as necessary.
Maintain accurate patient records using Cleardent software, ensuring all medical terminology is correctly documented.
Collaborate with the dental team to create treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any patient concerns or questions with empathy and professionalism.
Experience

A valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist in BC is required.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in using Cleardent being a plus. New grads are welcome as well.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this enhances communication with diverse patient populations.
Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial for effective patient interactions and record management.
Be a great communicator and be able to express yourself clearly and positively, both verbally and in writing.
