Registered Nurses – Acute Oncology/Haematology Inpatient ward
Salary Band – $81,000 - $106,000 p.a prorata + Kiwisaver

0.8-0.9 FTE / 64-72 hours per fortnight

About the role

These ward-based positions involve the care of medical oncology, radiation oncology and haematology patients receiving chemotherapy, supportive or radiation therapy.

Some of the key nursing tasks are:

comprehensive patient assessment.
administration of chemotherapy and associated supportive therapies or procedures.
symptom control and management.
patient education.
psychosocial assessment and support.

About you

We're looking for nurses who are experienced and organised, friendly and calm, able to work independently and at the same time genuinely interested in the best outcome for both patient and team.

Ideally have or be working towards current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council,
Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals.
Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused.
Previous acute Oncology/Haematology experience,

Salary range

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the RN Pay Scale, between step 2 $81,683 and step 7 $106,739 p.a dependant on relevant experience.
