Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a background working in a Cardiac Cath Lab? Join the team at Gold Coast Private Hospital - open to full time or part time hours for Level 1 RN's. This role is Monday to Friday with an on-call requirements out of hours and weekends. With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology. Gold Coast Private Hospital is committed to continual growth, providing exciting opportunities and professional career pathways in healthcare About the role As a Registered Nurse working within our Cath labs, you will be a part of a supportive team that operate across our three theatres, covering Cardiac, Vascular and Electrophysiology procedures. In this role your duties will include: Coordinate and provide safe, efficient and effective evidenced based nursing care Supervise, direct, guide and mentor our nursing team nursing team members Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous quality improvement Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure beneficial outcomes for all patients Coordinate and drive clinical audits Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs Essential Criteria: Current nursing registration with AHPRA Prior nursing experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Surgical Cardiac experience and a desire to learn Experience with angiography procedures Ability to establish professional relations with internal and external stakeholders An ability to communicate with influence to achieve results Commitment to enabling a culture of continuous improvement Ability to be meet on call requirements within short notice Why Healthscope?
