The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing legal matters related to foreclosure and default
Provide expert legal counsel on foreclosure matters, including default, loss mitigation, bankruptcy, and real estate owned
Review and analyze pre and post-judgment title issues to ensure clear title
Negotiate loss mitigation solutions with opposing counsel
Draft, review, and file legal pleadings, motions, discovery, etc. in furtherance of foreclosure processes
Attend hearings, mediations, and conduct trials
Communicate with clients, internal staff, and others to ensure cases are handled appropriately
Meet deadlines and perform meticulous analysis on various legal documents
Maintain a high level of professionalism and outstanding business judgment with an innovative approach to legal issues in support of strategic business initiatives and objectives
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and laws to ensure compliance
