The role
With our internal growth, Digital61 requires a Reporting Analyst for a new role to gather data and commentary from disparate sources, to compile into a business-wide portfolio view of all business activity, resources, allocations, utilisation and general health of client delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection: Gather and compile data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
Report Creation: Design, generate, and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports, including performance metrics, financial data, and operational statistics
Data Analysis: Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data findings.
Data Visualization: Create visually appealing and easy-to-understand charts, graphs, and dashboards to present data effectively.
Collaboration: Work closely with different departments to understand reporting needs and ensure reports meet their requirements.
Quality Assurance: Review and validate reports for accuracy and consistency. Ensure data integrity and reliability in all reports.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and implement best practices for data management and reporting.
What You Will Do
Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related field. Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Knowledge of data manipulation and analysis techniques.
Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot data issues and provide solutions.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Clearance Requirements
To be considered for the role, you must meet the following criteria:
Be an Australian citizen (permanent residents and/or Australian working visas are not adequate); and
Have an active Baseline Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) security clearance (or higher) or at least the ability and willingness to obtain and hold one.
