Roles And Responsibilities
• Student Counseling: Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions with students and parents to understand their educational background, career goals, and interests. Provide expert guidance on various academic programs, institutions, and admission procedures, both in India and abroad.
• Application Management: Assist students throughout the entire application process, including help with filling out application forms, preparing essential documents, and writing compelling Statements of Purpose (SOPs) and essays.
• Information Management: Stay updated with the latest trends in education, changes in university admission criteria, scholarship opportunities, and visa regulations for different countries. Maintain a comprehensive database of universities, courses, and admission requirements.
• Outreach & Marketing: Participate in educational fairs, school seminars, and promotional events to generate leads and promote the organization's services. Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions and student networks.
• Performance Tracking: Achieve admission targets by effectively converting inquiries into successful admissions. Maintain detailed records of all interactions and student progress using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Test Preparation Guidance: Provide information and guidance on required standardized tests such as the IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, GRE, and GMAT, and direct students to relevant test preparation resources.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field. A degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Education is a plus.
• Experience: Proven experience in an educational counseling, sales, or customer-facing role. Experience in the overseas education sector is highly preferred.
• Skills:
• Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Gujarati.
• Empathy and Patience: The ability to understand and address the concerns of students and parents with a supportive and patient demeanor.
• Goal-Oriented: A result-driven approach with a focus on achieving set targets.
• Knowledge of the Education Sector: A good understanding of various educational systems, courses, and career paths.
• Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and other Microsoft Office applications.
• SALARY : 40K TO 45K
