Reservations Specialist (Remote/Hybrid)

We are looking for a Reservations Specialist to join a team of distinguished hospitality enthusiasts. The role will be responsible for delivering exceptional quality and standards across all reservations processes and exceeding guest expectations for the Marine and Lawn portfolio of hotels ensuring that they leave wanting to return.
This role can be offered either as remote or hybrid (if you are located near one of our hotels).
What will I be doing?
• Under the guidance of the Head of Reservations, your role is to maximise all sales opportunities received.
• To meet and exceed budget, by processing bedroom, reservations whilst ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered.
• Dealing directly with our guest enquiries and questions via telephone and email with a positive and attentive attitude in a timely manner across all properties.
• Carrying out correspondence checks to ensure guest details are captured accurately to ensure the operations can deliver exceptional guest service.
• Ensure that all OTA arrivals are checked.
• Following up on reservations traces.
• Entering and managing group rooming lists for leisure guests.
• Being fully knowledgeable with all hotels in the Marine and Lawn portfolio.
• Maintaining accurate filing systems for all correspondence within the department, and ensure all filing is completed.
• Pro-actively calling all upcoming arrivals in line with the agreed timeframe.
• Upselling all products, rooms, and other hotel services/products
• To be aware of the hotel budget, maximising all areas of revenue streams.
• Creating and distributing reports to key stakeholders.
• To ensure all company standards of operating, personal performance and appearance are implemented and actioned

• Expert level attention to detail
• Proficient in IT
• High resilience and adaptability
• Hotel or Customer facing experience advantageous
• Previous experience of Opera/ HMS would be beneficial however not essential
