The Residential Interior Designer will be responsible for working directly with homeowners to design and customize their living spaces. This role requires a keen eye for aesthetics, spatial planning, and functional design, ensuring that each project meets the homeowner's unique needs and lifestyle. The designer will guide clients through the design process, providing expert recommendations on color schemes, materials, furniture, and layouts while ensuring seamless coordination with the Preconstruction team, contractors, and suppliers. Additionally, the designer will assist in exterior design elements, guiding clients through the selection process for materials, styles, and colors.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Sales team to bring clients' visions to life.
Consult with homeowners to understand their lifestyle, preferences, and functional needs.
Provide professional advice on interior design aesthetics, color palettes, materials, and finishes.
Assist clients in the selection process for exterior and interior home materials, styles, and colors.
Develop space layouts and optimized floor plans that enhance residential functionality.
Create mood boards, material selections, and detailed design presentations.
Produce presentation drawings and 3D visualizations to help clients envision their spaces.
Communicate effectively with clients, the Preconstruction team, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Maintain strong attention to detail, ensuring final designs align with the client's expectations.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and innovative design solutions.
Ensure timely and organized handover of information to the Preconstruction team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong design sense and creativity, with expertise in color theory and spatial planning.
A degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in design software (such as SoftPlan, SketchUp, or Photoshop).
Experience in creating mood boards, presentation drawings, and layout designs.
Excellent communication skills to present ideas effectively, guide clients through design choices, and collaborate with the Preconstruction team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to execute high-quality designs.
Experience in residential renovation and construction is a plus.
Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
Willingness to work outside regular hours to accommodate client schedules.
Compensation:

Full time
Salary $22.00 - $28.00 per hour Depending on Experience
