Casual active night shift offers 25% casual loading and excellent shift penalty rates.
House locations include Doncaster, Mt Evelyn and Boronia
About the role
If you’ve clicked on the advert, you know what the aim of a residential youth worker is. It’s about fostering positive relationships, providing a nurturing and safe home environment, supporting your colleagues and being a role model for young people in care.
There are also the elements of homemaking, administration, crisis management, travel support, organisation and everything else that comes with supporting young people in a home environment.
You will require either
Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and Out of Home Care).
A relevant tertiary qualification and a willingness to undertake top up training to meet the qualification requirements of the Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention

The opportunity to take up to 38 hours of shifts a week
Active night shifts available on weekdays and weekends.
SCHADS Level 3 pay
Salary packaging is available up to $15,+00 plus an entertainment card.
Casual active night shifts attract 25% casual loading and excellent shift penalty rates
Flexibility to work at several different homes in our Eastern Region.
You get the support of our After Hours team and After Hours Outreach Practitioners whilst on shift
Ongoing monthly supervision
Supported Top Up Training enrolment if required
Ongoing training opportunities including opportunities to undertake free TCI training
