Job Description

Working Title: Retail / Camp Attendent
Employment Status: Full-Time
Starting Hourly Rate: $31,59 per hour

Benefits: Available as per CBA

Requirements:

Fly In/Fly Out Camp
18+ years of age
6+ months in a retail position using point of sale system
6+ months cleaning rooms in a hotel, hospital or remote camp setting
CSTS/OSSA (before Jan 1, 2019), or BSO or CSO (after Jan 1, 2019)
Pass a Drug and Alcohol test
Tim Horton's experience is an asset

Coverage is as diverse as offshore oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, to coastal logging camps in B.C., to construction camps in the Alberta Oil Sands. Facilities are located within drill camps, mining camps, construction camps, pipeline camps, oil and gas installations and correctional facilities.

Job Summary
How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for performing light cleaning duties that maintain the establishment in a clean and orderly manner.

As a Housekeeper, you will:

Clean and disinfect areas and items such washrooms, vents, interior windows, walls, glass, doors, and mirrors
Strip, wash and make beds; collect and fold linen
Damp mop hard floors and auto scrub as needed
Check all primary areas, lobbies, stairwells, elevators/escalators, and mezzanines and clean as required
Vacuum carpeted areas and complete carpet extraction as needed
Remove all garbage from resident rooms and common areas
Maintain confidentiality of all resident and personnel information
Maintain a safe environment at all times (e.g. use of wet floor signs)
Perform duties according to health and safety guidelines
Report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately
Responding to emergency cleanups as required

As a Commissary Attendant, you will:

Sell retail items in the commissary store during the required hours.
Restock items on an as needed requirement. Inventory items as required with detail. Provide customer service professionalism
Maintain confidentiality of all resident and personnel information
Maintain a safe environment at all times.


About you:

Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare, hotel or commercial cleaning, is an asset.
Strong time management and organizational skills to be able to manage heavy workload.
Good command of English language, both verbal and written.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Physical ability to perform all aspects of the job, including requirements to lift up to 20 pounds
