Reports To: Group General manager & Sales Director

Position Summary:

The Revenue and Reservations Manager is a key role responsible for maximising the hotel group's revenue and driving the standards of the reception teams. This position will develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimise room occupancy and revenue, oversee the reservations process, and ensure exceptional customer service journey from booking to departure.

This role will be working between our two hotels, Hogarths Hotel & Hogarths Stone Manor.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Management:
• Develop and execute annual pricing strategies and seasonal promotions to maximise room revenue and occupancy.
• Analyse market trends for the borough looking at the rate margins for local hotels, in line with events taking place within the area, then reacting to these within the Hogarths strategy to ensure the hotel is sitting competitively within the market.
• Attend weekly sales meetings to report on forecast and budget, ADR, occupancy rates, business pick up and promotional statistics.
• Manage and update distribution channels, including the hotel's website, OTAs, and GDS.
• Implement revenue management reporting tools to streamline processes and improve decision-making.

Reservations Management:
• Working closely with the reception managers to oversee the reservations team to ensure efficient and accurate booking processes, including reservation checks and room allocations.
• Train and mentor reception managers to provide exceptional customer service, develop their team and individual skillsets and to magnify the importance of maximising upsell opportunities prior to arrival.
• Handle complex booking enquiries or large group bookings across both hotels.
• Maintain strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and other third parties, keeping Hogarths at the forefront of their mind.
• Work alongside the sales managers to proactively find and secure new business.

Collaboration and Communication:
• Assist with the sales and marketing plans for the year, developing and executing promotional campaigns and packages. (direct marketing, social marketing and in person marketing)
• Collaborate with Hogarths PR company to organise PR visits to boost Hogarths brand reach.
• Explore new ways in which the hotel can communicate to guests and attract a larger audience, as well as making use of tools already available such as in room tablets, database, networking opportunities.

Pay: From £35,000.00 per year
