Risk Management at IMC
IMC is currently looking for a Risk Manager to lead the Risk Management Team in our Mumbai office. It will be your challenge to help develop and own the risk management processes for market, credit, liquidity, and operational risks with support from a globalized team. The team acts as a key stakeholder in ensuring that the firm’s business plans are within its risk appetite and engages directly with the business on the review and challenge of risk management actions.
We are looking for someone with risk management, trading and technical expertise. Attention to detail, quantitative expertise and proactiveness are keys to success.
What you’ll do:
As a hands-on Risk Manager at IMC, you’ll identify and manage the risks in IMC’s existing and new trading strategies across various markets. More specifically:
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate known and potential sources of risk to the firm.
• Manage the firm’s electronic trading risk (day-to-day operations, trading team requests, limit setting).
• Lead in implementing and improving our risk policies, methodologies and limits.
• Engage closely with key stakeholders across our global business including trading teams, technology, and numerous back-office functions (e.g. finance, clearing, business development, compliance).
• Develop the firm’s risk toolkit continually.
• Assist Compliance with any risk-related regulatory matters.
• Lead the ongoing development of in-house built Risk Management tools to strengthen our risk monitoring and alerting framework.
What Makes It Fun:
• One of the most fun aspects of the job is how closely you will work with trading and other areas of the Firm. As the Risk Manager, you will interact with most teams within the organization and achieve a high-level understanding of how the business operates.
• We strive to create strong teams with strong individuals. You will learn a lot from your peers and continue developing your skills and business knowledge as the business grows and changes.
