Room Attendant

We are a 164-room hotel with full conference facilities and restaurant, Table Food and Drink located in central Canmore, Alberta.


We are seeking dependable, personable individuals with a keen sense of detail to clean our guestrooms to the satisfaction of the hotel and guests.


Duties include:


Refreshing guest amenities, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, shampooing carpets, washing walls & windows, delivering guest request, delivering & picking up linen/glassware, emptying and disposing of elevator landings recycling & garbage, aiding laundry
Able to complete 15 room per shift.
Report maintenance problems in public area immediately to room checkers,
Ensure lost & found items are returned to the housekeeping office.
Support and participate our hotel’s recycling program.
Be familiar with hotel facilities, housekeeping/laundry chemicals & equipment.
Participate in on-going training with equipment, tasks, and duties.
Be knowledgeable in Health & Safety, WHMIS, SDS & PPE
Ensure & provide safe & healthy environment for both guests & staff.
Ensure hotel security is protected by following the proper
procedures.
Cleaning public areas, Pool, gym
Stocking housekeeping closets with sheets and amenities
Delivering items to guests
Mopping and vacuuming public areas

Salary:

$18.50 per hour (starting wage) + Summer bonus
Regular pay raise (after 6 months and 1 year based on performance)
