Based in Sherburn-in-Elmet, this role is a full-time permanent position.
Job Description
Responsible to: General Manager
Reports to: Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities
• E Commerce: maintain company main website/E Commerce sites and social media accounts
• Online interactions with potential accounts
• Making research in the assigned marketplace and developing new accounts and building up the distribution network, through various communication lines, such as, emails, telephone calls etc
• Managing the accounts and ensuring the inquiries are handled in a satisfactory way; and advising customers on products, delivery schedules, and making sure orders delivered on time
• Providing advice and information to all customers or prospective customers on the products, dealing with customers problems and queries in a timely and professional manner
• Aiding with the Sales Manager/After sales team in handling the after sales service/warranty claims to achieve customer satisfaction
• Aiding with the Sales Manager in establishing strategic marketing plans; providing feedback and information to support market solutions
• Liaising with after sales and production department on a regular basis, regarding shipping, complaints etc
Person Specification
Essential
• Educational Level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or above
• Demonstrable Experience in Sales of one year or more
• Demonstrable IT/Marketing experience
• Competent with Microsoft Office software
Desirable
• Bilingual or multilingual skills are preferred
• Candidate with international trade background in sales/logistics/documentation is preferred
• Relevant experience in export industry of Generator Sets
• An understanding of social media tools, LinkedIn, Twitter, Blogs and etc
