Role Overview
The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, organising, and coordinating the organisation’s sales and marketing activities in a practical, hands-on manner appropriate to a small to medium NDIS provider. Reporting to senior management, the role focuses on increasing service uptake, strengthening referral networks, and promoting Energon Australia Pty Ltd’s services within the NDIS market.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan and implement practical sales and marketing strategies to grow participant intake and referral enquiries.
· Set achievable sales and growth targets and monitor outcomes against agreed KPIs.
· Develop and manage marketing activities suited to an SME NDIS provider, including digital marketing, community outreach, promotional materials, and local advertising.
· Promote the organisation’s services to NDIS participants, support coordinators, allied health professionals, and community stakeholders.
· Build and maintain referral relationships with support coordinators, plan managers, community organisations, and other service providers.
· Support and maintain brand awareness and organisational reputation through consistent and ethical marketing practices.
· Coordinate business development activities, including identifying local growth opportunities and potential new services.
· Organise and oversee sales-related processes such as service information, pricing presentation, and enquiry handling.
· Provide guidance to sales and marketing staff or contractors (where applicable) and monitor performance.
· Track relevant market trends, competitor activity, and NDIS sector developments affecting service demand.
· Prepare concise sales and marketing activity reports for senior management.
· Ensure all marketing and promotional activities comply with the NDIS Code of Conduct, advertising guidelines, and organisational policies.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, preferably within a small to medium business or service-based environment.
3. Experience in disability services, healthcare, or community services is highly desirable.
