Role Summary:
We’re on the lookout for a Sales Conditions Officer with a sharp eye for detail and a drive to make a difference. This role plays a key part in supporting the administering and management of sales development conditions under DevelopmentWA’s Contracts of Sale. You’ll work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure contract conditions are effectively monitored and progressed.
As a valued member of the Conveyancing Team, you’ll also have the flexibility to contribute to a variety of conveyancing activities across the business, supporting seamless property transactions and delivering quality outcomes.
Salary Range - $+7,312 - $102,172
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Prepare and lodge legal documents, including settlements and lodgements via PEXA.
Maintain and update internal systems such as Clarity and Objective.
Monitor and manage build conditions and post-settlement contract obligations.
Assist buyers with post-settlement requirements and support banks with mortgage registrations.
Assist to drive the administration and management of a backlog of outstanding contract management conditions.
Liaise with internal teams, agents, financial institutions, government bodies, and the public.
Deliver high-quality customer service across all stakeholder interactions.
Conduct research and support general settlement activities, including attending settlements.
Ensure compliance with DevelopmentWA policies and external requirements (e.g. PEXA).
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
Proven ability to manage a broad range of conveyancing tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
Strong knowledge of the conveyancing industry and experience preparing complex legal documents.
Sound understanding of Contracts of Sale and DevelopmentWA’s standard conditions, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to assess, prioritise, and manage a high volume of work.
Demonstrated ability to use initiative, problem solve and implement best practices to manage the workload.
Working knowledge of relevant legislation and its practical application.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in computer systems and the ability to learn internal platforms, along with experience using web-based tools such as Landgate, Map Viewer, and PEXA.
