Job Summary: The Construction Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales and building relationships within the construction sector. This role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual who can generate new business opportunities, manage client accounts, and contribute to achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and target potential clients and business opportunities within the construction industry.
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
• Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Prepare and present detailed proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.
• Negotiate terms and conditions to secure contracts and close sales.
• Collaborate with project management and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor and report on sales performance, including sales metrics and pipeline status.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Provide regular updates and forecasts to the Sales Manager or Director of Sales.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build relationships and promote the company's services.
• Stay updated on industry developments and advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
• Gather feedback from clients to understand their experience and identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with internal teams to implement improvements based on client feedback.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales within the construction industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in sales software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong drive for results.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
