Recon.Money envisions to make payment processing simple by removing the need of payment gateways. Recon has made payment processing directly into the merchant account possible with better success rate and reconciling it real time.
As the Manager (Revenue & Growth) you will be a critical part of the go-to-market leadership team, driving strategy and operations for Recon.Money, resulting in accelerated revenue growth across high-risk merchants and other clients.
What you’ll do
• Ideal candidates will have sales management and leadership experience bringing a new product to market, scaling technology sales teams, excellent communication skills, and a knack for understanding customer needs.
• As the Manager (Revenue & Growth), you will lead a team of high-performing individuals and deliver on ambitious targets.
• We are looking for a self-starter who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, operating in a high-growth environment, and solving complicated problems with limited oversight.
Responsibilities
• Lead a team of individuals focused on growth & acquisition of clients in the payments processing industry.
• Create go-to-market plans and solutions to meet our customer needs, in collaboration with Product, Sales, Finance and Marketing stakeholders.
• Manage day-to-day operations, with a focus on performance against key sales metrics.
• Be accountable for driving revenue, and new client acquisition at high rates of growth.
• Developing consultative and solution-based sales skills through all facets of the business cycle.
• Get hands on engaged in the largest, most strategic opportunities, leading executive relationships and helping the team win new customers.
• Lead with clarity and context with a compelling plan in line with Recon.Money’s direction.
• Create structure and focus for GTM ideas and product sales campaigns that the product team is exploring. Drive execution and measurement. Analyze results and make recommendations for action.
• Innovate and improve programs and program management mechanisms, suggesting new ideas, sharing best practices, and improving the business and customer engagement model.
Minimum requirements (Executive)
• 1+ year of experience in payments, financial services industry.
• 2+ years of technology sales experience.
Minimum requirements (Lead Level)
• 2+ year of experience in payments, financial services industry.
• 4+ years of technology sales experience with 1+ years of people leadership experience.
Minimum requirements (Manager, Head, VP Level)
• 5+ years of experience in payments, financial services industry. (Preferably managing clients in the high-risk industry such as gaming, online betting and gambling, etc.)
• 6+ years of technology sales experience with 3+ years of people leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in leading business strategy, innovation, and transformation at scale in a complex environment.
• High business acumen and strong analytical skills coupled with strong collaboration skills
• Leading high-performing teams, and working in a matrix environment.
• Passion for and demonstrated success understanding and fulfilling internal or external customer needs; problem-solver mindset.
• Ability to manage change and ambiguity with an action-orientation/drive – must thrive in a dynamic environment.
• High energy, strong work ethic, disciplined execution skills.
Interview Process:
• Initial client screening based on resume and experience in the payments processing industry.
• One-on-one interview with shortlisted candidates to understand their profiles and determine job role-candidate match.
• Case study to understand the candidate's approach towards solving complex problems. (Don’t worry- we do not expect visually polished presentations, it’s just a discussion about how you approach the problem statements we encounter on a day-to-day basis!)
• Short listing of selected candidates based on internal assessment and final HR discussions.
