Sales Operations Specialist / Manager – Operations (Sales)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team at SSSi. As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales team, optimizing processes, and ensuring the efficient execution of sales strategies. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong analytical mindset, and is passionate about the education technology industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Process Optimization:

· Analyze and streamline the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

· Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement, proposing and implementing solutions.

2. Sales Data Management:

· Maintain and update the CRM system to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer information.

· Generate reports and provide insights based on sales data to assist in decision-making.

3. Sales Enablement:

· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and update sales collateral, presentations, and training materials.

· Ensure sales representatives have access to the tools and resources needed to succeed.

4. Forecasting and Reporting:

· Assist in sales forecasting by analyzing historical data and market trends.

· Prepare regular sales reports for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.

5. Sales Analytics:

· Conduct sales performance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

· Provide actionable insights to the sales team to drive revenue growth.

6. Sales Training and Onboarding:

· Coordinate and facilitate sales training programs and onboarding for new sales team members.

· Develop training materials and documentation to support sales initiatives.

7. Sales Communication:

· Foster effective communication and collaboration between the sales, marketing, and customer support teams.

· Ensure sales teams are informed about product updates, promotions, and industry trends.

8. Contract Management:

· Assist in the management of sales contracts and agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

· Collaborate with legal and finance departments as needed.

+. Sales Target Management:

· Work with the sales team to establish and achieve clear sales targets & goals.

· Monitor progress towards sales targets and provide regular updates to management.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales operations or a similar role, preferably within the education technology industry.
• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of edtech products and the education sector is a plus.
