JOB DESCRIPTION
• Develop and generate profitable and sustainable sales in Asia
- Represent client companies in Asia in negotiations with customers, suppliers, government departments and other key contacts to secure the most effective contract terms for client companies in Asia.
• Establish and maintain effective formal and informal links with customers, relevant government departments and agencies, local authorities, key decision-makers and other stakeholders generally, to exchange information and views and to ensure that Client companies in Asia are providing the appropriate range and quality of services in Asia.
- Develop and maintain an effective marketing and public relations strategy to promote the products, services and image of Client companies in Asia in the wider community.
• Work with Sales Director to develop effective pricing strategy.
• Analyse pipeline and lead data, deliver periodic reporting to Sales Director providing key business insights: typical reporting relates to Demand Generation, Pipeline Forecast and Trends, Conversion Rates, Target Account, Market Segmentation, Win/Loss, Age.
• Support Proposal and Project team to oversee construction activities, including the preparation of bid documents, selection of contractors and supervision of contract work; ensuring that goals, objectives and elements of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities in Asia, which in turn would ensure the sustainable growth and progress of client’s business in Asia.
• Build and maintaining client relations.
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
• Manage competitive and compelling proposals through effective collaboration with the proposal team, technical team and supporting vendors.
• Provides strategic leadership and technical, operational, financial, and managerial leadership for successful implementation of project activities.
• Reporting of vital information on client companies in Asia overall performance to the Sales Director Asia.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• A proven record of success in management level project and sales management, with strong technical and process background, preferably in semiconductor or wafer fab industry.
• At least eight years’ experience with strong understanding of project and sales management.
• Graduate level of intellect preferably with a degree in a management discipline or a professional
qualification.
• A wide knowledge of the industry, preferably in automation and process engineering, ideally from semiconductor companies or from B2B companies focused in this sector.
• Experience in building up and maintaining excellent relationships with customers along with the ability to negotiate beneficial business for Client companies in Asia.
• Excellent organizational skills with a particular focus upon managing details.
• Political and presentational skills with an appreciation of the demands of conflicting interests and of meeting statutory requirements in Asian countries.
• A very high level of commercial awareness.
• High level skills in matters of leadership, communication, organisation and problem-solving. EDUCATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• An engineering degree from a reputable university.
• An MBA or a business degree is a plus.
• Fluent in English language skills are a must (reading, writing, speaking).
