Contract Type: Full-time Continuing (1.0 FTE)

Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $$63,357 to $112,345, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).

Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.
Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.





Job Summary:

Science Teacher - Grades 10-12


1.0 FTE continuing contract, starting September 2, 2025 or upon completion of the posting process.

Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in Science at the Secondary level. It would be considered an asset to have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in Information Technology.


This position is tentatively scheduled to include Science 10, Chemistry 11/12, Physics 11/12 and Information Technology 10-12. Please note that all work will be on site.
