Position: Security Officer

Must possess a valid SIA licence, 1 year Security Industry experience

Hours: 42 hours, working 4 on and 4 off ,12 hours a day

Pay rate: £12.+4

Driving Licence is essential, 10 to 30 miles, Cumbria LA14 2GR, (15 miles)

Job Requirements
Hold a Door Supervisor license (due to site client requirements)

Good communication skills

Willingness to learn and adapt

Ability to work as part of a team

Strong initiative and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service

Conduct access control and monitor site security

Check passes and identification to ensure compliance

Adhere to processes and procedures at all times

Follow the chain of command and maintain professionalism

Job Opportunities
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and deter unauthorised activities

Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents and observations, including completing necessary paperwork in a timely manner

Enforce access control policies by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points

Conduct thorough searches of individuals and vehicles entering the premises, following established protocols and procedures

Respond to emergencies and security incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of individuals and property

Essential Skills
SIA Licence, 1 year security experience

Driving Licence Essential

RTW in the UK & 5-year checkable history

Good customer service and written/verbal communication skills

Computer literate
