Security Officer

Job description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer who will work in various of our sites in the Hackney Area, who will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.

We require Officers to be SIA licenced and willing to work in environments such as Local government buildings, estates and corporate sites and able to stand for a long period of time. Officers must be flexible in hours and in the approach to daily duties.

Information:
• Position: Security Response Officer
• Location: Various sites within Hackney
• Pay Rate: £13.15
• Hours: Guaranteed 24 hours per week - Average 40 hours per week
• Shifts: Various days, nights & weekends

Job Role / Requirements:
• SIA Licence required
• Security Experience is required
• Must be flexible and be able to work days, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change due to operational needs at very short notice
• Must have good command of English Language
• Good communication both written & verbal
• Good levels of customer service at all times
• Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
• Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areas
• Flexible in the approach to daily duties -long periods of standing patrolling, reception duties, access control, lock ups
• First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence is a bonus
• Must have five years of checkable work history
• Must have the ability to travel around Hackney

• Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users
• Reliable, Responsible and Punctual
• Able to work in a team as well as on your own
• Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
• Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk for extended periods when asked
• Confident in writing incident and shift reports
• The ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative
• To have a smart appearance befitting the company
• Be confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific duties
• Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested
