Security Officer

Unlock an exclusive security opportunity in Perth! Securitas, a global leader in security services, is seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team.

We are recruiting for two positions; one is working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern rotating days and nights, this would also include weekends. The other position is working a guaranteed 42 hours per week but the shifts are variable.

As a Security Officer, your extensive expertise will be instrumental in maintaining safety and security in Perth. About the Role

Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering questions and ensuring a welcoming and secure environment for all individuals on the premises

Accurately document and report all incidents, observations and daily activities, ensuring clear and timely communication with supervisors and relevant stakeholders

Collaborate effectively with other security officers and team members to maintain a safe environment, supporting each other during patrols and emergency situations

Conduct regular patrols of the premises, monitor surveillance equipment and promptly address any suspicious activity or security breaches

Respond swiftly and appropriately to emergency situations, following established protocols to ensure the safety and security of all personnel and property

Essential Skills

Current, valid SIA Licence

Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history

Must live within a commutable distance (max. 45 minutes) to site and be able to get to shifts on time

1-years Security experience

IT literate

Must be proficient in speaking and writing the English language

Must be flexible in your approach to working

Well presented to represent the Securitas name
