Security Officer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires keen observational skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Enforce rules and regulations to prevent loss or damage to property.
Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Assist in training new security personnel as needed.
Qualifications

Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies is an asset.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must possess a valid security license or certification as required by local regulations.
Physical fitness to perform duties that may require standing for long periods or responding quickly in emergencies.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
