SEMH Teaching Assistant - Waterloo, Lambeth - Immediate Start

Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in a school environment? We are seeking an SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Waterloo, Lambeth. This full-time role offers the chance to work closely with children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them thrive academically and emotionally.

Benefits Of The Role
• SEMH Teaching Assistant role with regular training on different areas of SEND, particularly SEMH.
• Work term-time only, ensuring a good work-life balance.
• Gain experience alongside a supportive team of SENCo, Psychologists, and Therapists.
• Paid position: £480-£500 per week.
• Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm.

About the Role:
• Based in Waterloo, Lambeth, you will work on a 1:1 and small group basis, supporting children with SEMH.
• As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will run targeted intervention sessions and help boost pupils’ academic and emotional development.

Essential Requirements:
• A minimum 2:1 bachelor's degree in Psychology from a top UK university.
