Job Opportunity: SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Location: Bromley

Hours: Monday - Friday, +:00 AM - 4:00/4:30/5:00 PM

Position Type: Full-Time

Do you have a passion for supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and an interest in hands-on trades like bricklaying, plumbing, and more? Join our team as a SEND Learning Support Assistant!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalised support to SEND students, helping them succeed in practical trade subjects such as
bricklaying, plumbing, and related areas.
• Assist with the implementation of individualised learning plans and adapt instructional materials to meet
the diverse needs of students.
• Work alongside vocational tutors to ensure an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Support students with both academic and practical tasks, encouraging their independence and
confidence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience working with SEND students is highly desirable.
• An interest in trade subjects like bricklaying, plumbing, or similar fields.
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to support students in both classroom and workshop settings.
