Qualifications
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant at Carenet Health serves as a key contributor to the organization's financial integrity and operational excellence
This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
The Senior Accountant plays a pivotal role in the month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and financial analyses, supporting the organization's strategic decision-making
Maintain accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconcile subsidiary ledgers with the general ledger
Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports
Ensure timely and accurate monthly account reconciliations
Assist with special accounting projects, including budget preparation and monitoring
Conduct analysis and create detailed summaries of accounts
Evaluate and support internal controls, including risk assessments and audits of risk areas
Collaborate with auditors by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and addressing audit requirements
Analyze current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future financial outcomes
Supervise and mentor clerical staff, if applicable
Contribute to team success by collaborating on shared objectives
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Work Environment : Typical office environment with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, headsets, photocopiers, and fax machines
Exposure to general office noise and interruptions, such as printers, phones, and visitors
Physical Demands : Primarily a sedentary role requiring the ability to remain stationary for most of the workday
Occasional movement within the office to access equipment or attend meetings
