Are you an experienced accountant working in an accountancy practice? Are you looking for a modern and forward thinking firm who can offer progression and further training options.

Due to expansion, we are now looking to hire an experienced accountant to manage a portfolio of clients. Ideally you will be nearly or newly ACCA / ACA qualified, but part qualified accountants will also be considered.

Requirements:

· ACCA / ACA qualified or part qualified upwards

· Recent experience working in a UK accountancy firm,

· Experience preparing year end accounts, VAT returns, and financial statements.

· Experience preparing statutory accounts for a variety of clients, preparing VAT returns and completing corporation tax.

· Experience managing a portfolio of varied clients, either within a team or independently.

Duties:

· Prepare statutory and management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients using Iris.

· Preparing annual and quarterly VAT and CIS returns and corporation tax.

· Complete general bookkeeping for all clients.

· Review the bookkeeping, management accounts, annual accounts and tax returns to make sure they are as accurate as possible.

· Preparation of budgets and forecasts on behalf of clients

· Liaising with clients directly to answer financial queries.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£65,000.00 per year

• Bachelor's (preferred)
