Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial transactions and reporting.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze accurate financial statements in compliance with standards.

Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial records.

Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, addressing findings and ensuring compliance.

Manage tax filings, staying updated on tax laws, and providing compliant tax recommendations.

Utilize financial software and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Monitor cash flow and manage working capital to meet operational needs.

Establish and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure accuracy.

Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and business planning.

Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting a collaborative and high-performing team.

Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial data accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or relevant certification preferred.

Several years of experience in accounting, with a focus on progressively responsible roles.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.

Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
