Position Summary

Are you ready to step into a dynamic role where you'll serve as a fractional controller, driving financial excellence and providing advisory services to Clients?

As a Client Accounting Senior, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely completion of client engagements and you'll function as an integral component of our clients' financial operations, overseeing a variety of accounting tasks and offering financial/strategic guidance at the controller level. Your expertise in accounting principles, accounting technologies, business operations, and client relationships will contribute to the success of the team and the delivery of high-quality accounting services to clients. Our diverse client base includes industries such as healthcare, technology, manufacturing, and real estate.
Tasks

Accounting Services:
• Provide accurate and timely completion of accounting tasks typically involved within a monthly financial close, including financial statement preparation
• Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy, provide actionable insights, compliance with accounting standards, and client-specific requirements
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities

Client Communication and Support:
• Leverage data analytics tools to extract insights and drive informed financial decisions
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships based on trust and professionalism
• Maintain strong client relationships, addressing inquiries, providing guidance, and ensuring client satisfaction

Process Improvement and Compliance:
• Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness
• Stay updated on emerging accounting technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions for business growth and optimization
• Support external audits, providing requested documentation and addressing audit findings
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard client assets and ensure data integrity
Experience and Education

Required education and experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• Prior and/or current accounting experience in public accounting, corporate or private business
• Intermediate to expert level user in following platforms: Sage Intacct, Bill.com, QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office

Preferred education and experience
• CPA license a plus but not required
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to leverage our technology stack to ensure efficient and effective processes
