Position Overview The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial activities of the company
This role involves a blend of strategic financial management, accounting operations, and reporting
Financial Reporting Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
General Ledger Management Oversee the general ledger, including reviewing and reconciling accounts, and ensuring proper recording of financial transactions
Cost Accounting Analyze and manage cost accounting processes, including inventory valuation, cost analysis, and budgeting for manufacturing operations
Financial Analysis Conduct financial analysis to support management decisions, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and cost-benefit analysis
Compliance Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Assist with audits and implement necessary improvements
Budgeting and Forecasting Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by preparing financial projections, analyzing trends, and providing insights for strategic planning
Process Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting department and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Team Leadership Mentor and oversee junior accountants and accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed
