Qualifications
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team
The ideal candidate will have strong accounting experience with an emphasis on managing the month end process, developing and adhering to accounting policy, vendor relationships, handling sales transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting
This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a senior or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations (GAAP)
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate period end processing
Manage accruals development and review
Coordinate close requirements with rest of Accounting Team and at direction of VP Accounting
Sales & Revenue Recognition:
Oversee and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes related to sales transactions
Ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606)
Maintain and monitor vendor accounts and ensure timely payments
Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and manage payment cycles
Prepare and review vendor invoices for accuracy and ensure compliance with contractual terms
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Ensure timely invoicing to clients and vendors, managing overdue accounts, and ensuring collections
Internal Controls & Compliance:
Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
Assist with SOX compliance and other regulatory requirements
Work closely with the Sales, Project Management, and Procurement teams to ensure smooth financial operations
Provide accounting support to the sales and project teams, ensuring the financial impact of decisions are understood and properly recorded
Support various accounting and finance projects, as needed, including system improvements, process enhancements, and financial analysis
Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems or upgrades to existing systems

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting and Month-end:

o Ensure timely and accurate period end processing

· Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP).

· Experience in technology consulting or a service-based industry is highly preferred.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience in managing and optimizing financial systems.
