Skill Profile:

Minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience in information technology with an emphasis on Linux Server Administration in a production environment.

Excellent knowledge of Linux systems.

Troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis of issues on major Linux flavors

Experience in Remote server management tools.

Strong knowledge on user management and server administration.

Operating Systems (OS) installation, systems management, security, monitoring troubleshooting, patching, and version upgrades on Linux.

Candidates will be expected to analyze and troubleshoot Linux servers.

Responsible for Administering on Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, Suse).

Installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, troubleshooting/diagnosing issues.

Assist in the setting of system standards for base implementation (including limit values, volume and file system management, service configurations, etc.)

Thorough understanding of the following technologies as they apply to Systems Administration and architecture: software and hardware load-balancing, clusters, RAID and Server architecture

Secondary Skillset:

Incident and Change Management :
Responsible for daily operational activities and L2 incidents and changes for compute supported for customers. Compute upgrades and on-call support during non-business hours. Consultant - Cloud Ops will be responsible for day to day operational activities.

Problem Management :
Initiates and manages the action plans for compute Technology, including follow-up of implementation. Consultant - Cloud Ops is responsible to drive P1 Incident Reduction compute Technology and ensure RCA's/PIR's are submitted as Contracted with Customers
Leading P1 incident & accountable for complete closure.

Customer Technical Documents :
Update ICOG's and SOP portal with the latest documents related with Escalated Incidents
Leading the documentation & ensuring 100% Icog updation.

Maintain a thorough understanding of the tools, systems, and processes required to provide quality customer support.
