An opportunity exists for a Senior Assistant to join our Business Services Team in Canberra.

About the role
As the Senior Assistant Business Services, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day delivery of high quality, effective and efficient office services for the Canberra office.
In this role you will:
act as the first point of contact for all visitors to the office
provide high-quality service to internal and external clients by acting in a professional, welcoming and efficient manner at all times
undertake on ground IT support (backup) when required
manage all records within the office and assist with annual file audits
provide support during peak periods lawyers and legal support staff
conduct and report on health and safety concerns.

About you
This role will suit an experienced Senior Assistant that will ideally have:
demonstrated experience in a support or front-of-house role with a demonstrable flexible and positive “can do” attitude
excellent problem-solving skills
demonstrated customer service experience
ability to work under pressure and effectively priorities tasks
good judgment and communication skills
a proven ability to build relationships, be approachable and responsive.
This role will also supervise the provision of hospitality for marketing and other AGS events, and provide additional support in other corporate functions to the Canberra office. Experience in these areas will be highly regarded.
