Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building advanced web applications using the Yii2 framework. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all web applications are robust, user-friendly, and meet our quality standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop web applications that integrate with outside data sources and APIs.
- Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to define and design new features.
- Communicate effectively with project owners/managers and developers through written communication and meetings.
- Implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and maintain existing applications.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience with PHP preferably using the Yii2 framework.
- Expertise in PHP and its nuances, and experience with RESTful APIs to connect web applications to back-end services.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database design, including MVC design patterns.
- Experience implementing security and data protection solutions.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
