Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Brand Manager/ Brand Manager will create a strong impression of brand amongst consumers, uncover useful consumer insights to deliver effective marketing strategies, campaigns and activations to grow market share and brand’s reputation. In this role, you will help coordinate market plan and launch programs to create demand and maximize sales of a specific product, product line or product area.

Key Accountabilities
• Monitor retail market trends, analyze household and brand reports, research consumers and track competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues
• Working closely with sales and distribution partners to accumulate market knowledge and intelligence for successful marketing go-to-market initiatives
• Responsible for formulating and implementing consumer research on the brand to uncover powerful insights to drive long term equity, product innovation/renovation and brand operation
• Interact with Marketing Manager and Marketing Head to understand requirements from the brand and accordingly build brand strategy
• Translate brand strategies into brand plans and go-to-market strategies
• Responsible for the development and implementation of all communication and point of sale strategy including close coordination of trade marketing activities with appropriate sales teams
• Overseeing the production of newspaper and magazine advertisements, direct mail packs, email campaigns, websites, exhibition stands, road shows and liaising with creative agency, art designers, copywriters, media buyers and production houses
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
• MBA /PGDBM, Marketing from top 20 business school
• Minimum of experience 8-10 years, 4-5 years in FMCG Branding
• Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications
• Strong background in managing a consumer goods brand
• 6-8 years of experience in handling branding for FMCG
• Sales and Marketing Background preferred
• Ability to articulate vision for the brand
• Multi-tasking
• Good people skills
