About the role

Glenrowan Farms WA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Broadacre Crop Farm worker to join our team in York WA 6302. This is a full-time role that will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of our large-scale farming business.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the planting, maintenance, and harvesting of broadacre crops including wheat, barley, export hay and canola
Operating and maintaining a range of farm machinery such as tractors, harvesters, and sprayers
Monitoring crop health
Assisting with the maintenance and repair of farm infrastructure and equipment
Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations
Providing training and mentorship to junior farm workers
Recording relevant farm data for compliance and performance analysis into farm management software
Participate in planning meetings
What we're looking for

Significant experience (5+ years) working in a broadacre crop farming environment
Proficient in the operation and maintenance of a wide range of farm machinery and equipment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address a variety of farm-related challenges
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the wider farm team
A passion for sustainable farming practices and a commitment to environmental stewardship
A solid knowledge of Topcon and John Deere GPS systems
Experience with Claas and Fendt machinery
Possess an attention to detail and pride in their work
Relevant qualifications or certifications in agriculture or a related field would be highly regarded
